I'm a warm, encouraging, enthusiastic & patient guide - whether your vision is simple or more complex, classic or playful, I work with you to grow your dancing skills, helping you move elegantly & comfortably together. I’ve helped hundreds of couples (as well as Father/Daughter & Mother/Son, etc.) prepare for their Wedding Day dances through customized dance instruction.
HOW MY LESSONS WORK / WHAT TO EXPECT
I create custom-designed, personalized wedding dances, tailored to your unique tastes, skills, and learning curves. I help you develop a dance that feels comfortable, fun, and expresses “you” and your love for each other on your wedding day. I give my students lots of attention, intention, and review, so you feel confident with your moves on the dance floor.
Private Studio: lessons take place in dedicated, distraction-free studios. You’ll have full access to the dance floor and music without sharing with others.
Performance Coaching: beyond the steps, we’ll focus on expression, presentation, tips for minimizing nerves, and how to practice for best results.
Song Analysis: I review your chosen song outside of lesson time, mapping out its sections and highlights. This helps us structure the choreography optimally. If needed, I can recommend professional music editing services.
Video Recording: At the end of each lesson, I encourage you to record the moves. Taking these videos home allows for optimal review and practice.
Practice Makes Perfect: Your progress depends greatly on how much practice you put in outside of our lessons. The more you practice independently, the more we can focus on moving forward during our lesson time. However, if life gets busy, we’ll be doing more review, and we can tailor a simpler dance for you.
Ideal TIMING or "When to Begin": this varies, depending on:
Your personal learning style (slow & steady, vs. pressure-deadline motivated)
Realistic Time: Consider how much time you realistically have to practice
how much you'd like to grow your dancing skills over time (vs. putting together a quick choreography)
how busy your schedule may be before your wedding: a weekly or 2x/week lesson series completing days to a few weeks prior to your date is an average timeline, although may vary, and every couple is different.
Aim for a balance—close enough to your wedding day that you remember the piece well, yet early enough to allow ample practice and readiness before travel and wedding schedule demands.

Get comfortable with simple choreographed dance moves, develop your lead/follow skills, and learn fun variations. Includes a beautiful entrance, turns and a finale dip—all customized to your song.Wedding 10-Pack - $1110 (save $140; valid for 120 days from 1st lesson date)
Develop a fuller choreography, including lead/follow technique, entrance, turns, dips, ending & exit. This provides more confidence and practice time for your wedding day, will allow the dance to feel more natural & look more polished. Recommended if you want to incorporate multiple dance styles.“Last Minute” Double Lesson (=Two 55-minute lessons, back-to-back on the same day) - $250
